Fantastic company

We're not big fans of 'tours' but we wanted to drive to Sandwich harbour. Jaque and PJ couldn't have given us a better experience. They drove ahead with a radio, talked us through any difficult driving, and expertly guided through the whole day. They quickly seemed to gauge what interested us, and then tailored the tour accordingly. They were incredibly well informed about the area. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. In fact, they were so good we went out with them a second day - and that's from people who don't like being tours!

Due to the tides and unpredictable weather, we may NOT be able to access the lagoon at Sandwich Harbour on the day of your tour. If this occurs, we will take you to a view point of the lagoon instead.

You are responsible to ensure that your vhicle insurence will cover sand and dune driving. This activity is done at your own risk and we will not be held responsible for any damages or injuries.

You need special permission from the vehicle rental agency to drive to Sandwich Harbour, so ask them first before booking this tour.

Experience the adventure and beauty of exploring the worlds oldest desert in your own 4x4 vehicle. There are many interesting sights to see, including desert fauna and flora and giant sand dunes.

Navigate the narrow tidal passage where giant dunes run straight into the Atlantic ocean on the way to Sandwich Bay.

Please note: We do not provide food or drinks during this tour.

We are proud to be associated with the BMW Driving Experience as we are responsible for guiding them through their dunes section of their tour.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Your Namibia desert adventure starts when we meet at the Walvis Bay Yacht CLub at aprox 8:30. After a quick briefing we depart towards the Namib Naukluft Park.

Along the  we stop at verious points of interest for photos and to share information and history with you.

If we reach Sandwich Harbour, you have the opportunity to have your packed lunch and relax, enjoying the view before heading to the dune belt for some dune driving.

This tour is a cusomised tour to Sandwich Harbour that excludes wreckless and dangerous driving without sacrificing any of the fun and adventure of a normal tour.

**Please note that this is a SELF DRIVE TOUR. This means that you will be driving your own/rented/hired 4x4 vehicle that will be guided by our lead vehicle.

It is of utmost importance that you have your own insurance cover for this tour. We take extreme caution when it comes to the safety of ourselves, our clients and the enviroment at all times.
