What You Can Expect

Your day begins at approximately 08:30, with collection from your accommodation in Walvis Bay or Swakopmund. After a short briefing, you depart in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle.

Relaxed Coastal Drive

Travel north past Wlotzkasbaken before visiting the remote Zeila Shipwreck, a striking reminder of Namibia’s maritime history.

Inland Journey

Leave the coast and head inland across wide gravel plains towards the towering granite peaks of Spitzkoppe.

Spitzkoppe Arrival

Around 10:00, arrive at the mountain range often called the “Matterhorn of Namibia” due to its distinctive shape.

Bushmen Rock Art

Visit ancient San rock paintings, learning about their cultural and historical significance.
